The boss is sitting outside the northern room, approach it and press to fight it Later you'll have enough AP you can just combo link again and again to get it in one turn without guard break. If it doesn't work don't worry about it, you can get it later, this is just an early and relatively simple way to get the trophy. Walk forward to get some scenes and yet another trophy. Story Dungeon - Evil Cave : Cave Near Town The mission we want is Evil Cave : Cave Near Town. Generally speaking, you won't need to try more than once for an S rank once you are superpowered, which is why we aren't going to worry so much now.Īfter you've read all the choices in Landmass Info back out and choose Search. However, being overpowered doesn't penalize you, so we'll run through them as they unlock to get the experience and a possible S rank, and then come back later when we're really strong to try the ones we failed to get an S rank on. As we go through them I'll talk about strategies.

You need an S rank on all the side dungeons for a trophy. Timed dungeons will have an option to check the ranking when you select them (and will also show your best time if you have one), story missions won't. The search option in the main menu allows you to choose which dungeon you go to. Sometimes, events open up an option in the search menu (with a green background) that you need to select to progress, I'll mention these. Generally speaking, the ones near the top are actual events with text or cutscenes, and the ones near the bottom just unlock timed dungeons. I'll mention the ones I watch to open up the story and dungeons, but don't be afraid to open any that pop up as this won't cause any problems. There's no reason to not watch everything that has NEW by it. Events you watch are stored in the events section of the Tome, accessible from the menu. Once you've read about a side quest you can access it at anytime from the search menu. Events and quests appear here and new ones will have NEW in red letters by it. The main way we progress through the game is to use the Explore option and go into Landmass Info. As a general rule, you want to keep up to date on weapons always, and armor if you can afford it. Item selection seems to increase as Neptune levels up, so every few levels check back and see if anything new is in there. The last tab is DLC, which you can buy but isn't required. Processors are very expensive so don't worry about those for now. In Neptune's case she'll also have processors. Each character also has a tab, and in these you'll find weapons and accessories they can equip. Early game you should get enough from random chests you pass by and enemies as well, but you'll eventually want to buy them yourself to keep up with item skill use. The first tab has alchemy items, your characters use these 4 types of ingredients to use their item skills, so you want to stay stocked up. Press on Comp and move her behind Neptune, netting an easy achievement in the process. Before we go further you'll want to enter the menu with and pick formation. You'll have 1-2 more battles before the boss in the north room, just do the same thing in each battle.Īfter the fight head forward to the fork, open the chest to the left for Planet Hammer and Descent Bell, these let you do field actions.

On the way to the first fork you'll fight your first battle, it's not a particularly hard fight. You only have one path you can take to start.

Compa is not, and can die with no penalty to shares. As you probably know from the scenes you just watched, Neptune is a Goddess. Compa has more intelligence, so she is better off using her gun attacks. Neptune has a great strength stat, so she is better off using physical attacks. You'll have 2 characters, Neptune and Compa. Eventually you'll be in your first dungeon. There's not much to do while a ton of scenes occur, so sit back and read/watch it all.
